There are two conflicting stories that are told everywhere in relation to 2021 housing market – extreme lack of inventory (and not just in the Bay Area but everywhere across the country) and a record number of sales. In this update I am going to reconciliate these two conflicting trends and then talk about what to expect this year, 2022.
